The Yakima County Bar Association was pleased to have Bill Pickett provide his presentation on Police Misconduct (Bad Boys II, the second in his series on the topic). To say the least, Bill’s engaging approach to representing clients who have police negligence claims was well received. Bill expressed the need to put oneself in the shoes of others to understand them as well as possible, the importance of respect for the judicial officers and the bench, and the different types of claims that clients may have. As an experienced trial lawyer, Bill is able to speak from first hand knowledge on these topics, and his authentic nature showed. Bill is already looking forward to providing other continuing legal education seminars on this and other topics in the near future.
